Heath Remedies- President

HeathHeath has 15 years of experience in camps from being a participant to Program Director. He has worked in the Non-Profit field as an Athletic Sports Director. He has worked with special needs children and adults for 10 years in Special Olympics and daily job coaching. He has a wonderful wife Casey and long haired dachshund named Benny. He is excited for the challenge to bring Adam’s Camp to the families and children of Texas.

Mairi Gray – Treasurer

MairiMairi attended Angelo State University for Accounting. She has over 10 years in the Real County Treasurers office now serving her 6th year as the County Treasurer. Mairi brings over 30 years of experience in book keeping, human resources, and payroll.

Chele Robinette

CheleChele brings years of experience in non-profits, fundraising and coordinating events and volunteers to Adam’s Camp Texas. She and her husband Vince have three children – Ryan, Drake and Reagan. Their son’s Ryan and Drake both have special needs.  Ryan is affected with Fragile X Syndrome and Drake is hearing impaired.  Being a part of any special needs organization is a dream come true. The possibilities are endless and Chele is happy to be a part of this organization.

Lulu Jones – Program Director

LuluLulu’s has twenty years of experience in camps ranging from camper to Program Director. She has three amazing children- Charlie, Sam and Ellie and a very supportive husband, Tim. Sam has Down Syndrome and has been an aspiring Adams Camp camper for years. Although Lulu is new to the Non-Profit world, she is enthusiastic and ready for the challenge to bring this amazing program to the families and children of Texas.


Casey Remedies- Secretary

CaseyCasey has been in Texas now for 15 years and is originally from Louisiana. Casey has an awesome husband Heath and an adorable 4 legged child named Benny. She has been an elementary educator for 18 years and involved with the Special Olympics for the last 4 years.
I love being a part of a child’s progress and growth no matter where his/her starting point is. I am very excited about the start-up of Adam’s Camp!

Erin Moore

ErinErin is a Special Education teacher in central Texas, and is excited about her first foray into the non-profit world. She has worked with a range of children and young adults with special needs for the past 3 years and is a soccer coach for Special Olympics in her community. She has a wonderful husband named Keith and two dogs she loves to enjoy the outdoors with. Erin is excited to continue working with families of children with special needs through this new opportunity to bring Adam’s Camp to Texas.

Director of Outreach, Bob Horney

Bob Horney, Director of OutreachBob focuses on the development and expansion of Adam’s Camp Outreach programs – helping others establish Adam’s Camp programs throughout the U.S. and other countries. Currently this includes Nantucket, Alaska and New Hampshire with hopes of beginning one soon in northern California.  Bob loves his wife, Karel; their twin boys Adam & Jared, mountaineering and cooking in roughly that order.
